Day 1   Beijing

Welcome to Beijing, the capital of China and home to many ancient wonders. You will be met and transferred to your HotelCentral Plaza or same level. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 2     Beijing  (Breakfast /Lunch)

Your highlights today include a tour of Tian An Men Square, the world's largest public plaza, and the Forbidden City, home to 24 emperors between the 15th and 20th centuries of Ming and Qing Dynasty and many priceless artifacts today. Visit the pearl factory at the lunch place which will show you how light water pears grow in an oyster and provides all kinds of pearls, as we know that China produce 95 percent fresh water pears in the world. After lunch you’ll go ahead to the inspiring Temple of Heaven where the ancient emperors worshiped hundred times for good harvest and a good year for his country.

    

 

Day 3     Beijing   (Breakfast /Lunch) 
On a daylong excursion, you will see the Olympic Village (on bus outside look at the Bird Nest, Water Cube), and then stop for a Jade factory on the way to the Wall. Jade is Chinese national treasure stone. Here you could learn something about Chinese jade culture and see how the workers carving a piece of jade. Walk the mighty Juyongguan section of the Great Wall, the only man-made wonder on earth visible from the out space, and tour the ancient Ming Tomb.

 

  

   

Day 4     Beijing (Breakfast /Lunch)

You can visit the beautiful Summer Palace today, it’s known for much significance such as the Long Corridor with painted gallery, Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, Seventeen- Arch Bridge and Marble Boat. And you will visit a Silk factory to see how the silk worms grow up and silk noil yarn and how to make a silk quilt. Experience the day-to-day life of the local people on a half day Hutong Tour by pedicab through Beijing's ancient residential areas, all the foreigners recommend this is the real Beijing and most interesting part of their tour. In the afternoon, you can touch this charming city by yourself, we’ll send you back to the hotel for a relax evening without dinner.    

   

Day 5     Depart Beijing to Xi’an (B/L)

Big farewell to Beijing as you will transfer to the airport to fly your next destination

The terra-cotta Warriors

The Terra Cotta Army literally "soldier and horse funerary statues") are the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang the First Emperor of China. The terracotta figures were discovered in 1974 by some local farmers near Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China near the Mausouleum of the second Ming Emperor. The figures vary in height (183–195 cm - 6ft6ft 5in), according to their role, the tallest being the generals. The figures include strong warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians. Current estimates are that in the three pits containing the Terracotta Army there were over 8,000 soldiers, 100 chariots with 400 horses and 300 cavalry horses, the majority of which are still buried in the pits.

The ancient Wall

The City Wall of Xi'an is one of oldest existing Chinese city wall. It is based in Xi'an, an ancient capital of China.
194 BCE: Construction of the first city wall of Chang'an began, which did not finish until 190 BCE. The wall measured 25.7 km in length, 12-16 m in thickness at the base. The area within the wall was ca. 36 km2.
1370: Ming Dynasty built a new wall to protect a much smaller city of 12 km2. The wall measures 11.9 km in circumference, 12 m in height, and 15-18 m in thickness at the base.
 

Day 6    Xi’an (B/L)

The Greater Wild Goose Pagoda

Giant Wild Goose Pagoda or Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China. It was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and originally had five stories, although the structure was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian and its exterior brick facade renovated during the Ming Dynasty. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveller Xuanzang.

The Bell Tower

The Bell Tower, is a stately traditional building, that marks the geographical center of the ancient capital. From this important landmark extend East, South, West and North Streets, connecting the Tower to the East, South, West and North Gates of the City Wall of the Ming Dynasty.

 

 

 

Day 7 Xi’an to Chongqing (B/L)

Day 8 Cruise (B/L/D)

Arrive in Fengdu ancient town, visit the ghost city

It got its reputation as the "Ghost City"in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Two officials from the imperial court: WangFangping and Yin Changsheng, got bored with the political life in the court andcame to Mt. Minshanoutside Fengdu City to practice Taoist teachings. Bothof them later became immortals by carrying out self-cultivation. This storywidely spread and Mt. Minshan became famous. When combined together, their surnames Yin and Wang, sound very much like "King of Hell" in Chinese. Hence the people began to call Fengdu the"Ghost City". It was the legendary capital of The Ghost King sculptured statue is 138 meters high and 217 meters wide. The tongue only is 81 meters long and mouth 70 meters wide. The pictures are carvedin to the mountain for a depth of 26 meters. Visitors can climb the body of the king to the top of the mountain. Guinness World Records has listed it as the biggest sculpture carved on a rock.Ghost State by Daoists.

Visit the Three Gorges whole day

The Three Gorges region is a scenic area along the Yangtze River in the Hubei province of the People's Republic of China with a total length of approximately 200 km. The Three Gorges occupy approximately 120 km within this region. Although it is primarily famous for its scenery, the Three Gorges region is historically and culturally an important region in China. A representation of the westernmost gorge appears on China's currency in the back of the paper 5 yuan note.

Day 10 Fly to Shanghai (B/L)

Yu Yuan Garden

Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai. The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.

 

The Jade Buddha Temple

The Jade Buddha Temple is a Buddhist temple in Shanghai, China. As with many modern Chinese Buddhist temples, the current temple draws from both the Pure Land and Chan traditions of Mahayana Buddhism.

 

Shanghai Museum 

Located in the center of Shanghai in People's Square, Shanghai Museum is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. The exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolizes the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land.

 

 

Day 11 Shanghai (B/L)

Visit the oriental pearl tower

The Oriental Pearl Tower stands by the bank of Huangpu River. It is in the centre of Lujiazui, opposite to the Bund which is famous for its grand buildings of various architectural styles. The tower is 468 metres high. It is the highest TV Tower in Asia and is the third highest one in the world. The designers magically set the eleven beautiful spheres of various sizes up from the green grassland to the blue sky with two giant spheres shining like two rubies. The whole design is rich in poetic and pictorial splendor., which gives the tourists the impression that pearls of Various sizes are dropping onto the emerald plate.

 

Nanjing Road

Nanjing Road is the main shopping street of Shanghai, China, and is one of the world's busiest shopping streets.Today's Nanjing Road comprises two sections, Nanjing Road East and Nanjing Road West. In some contexts, "Nanjing Road" refers only to what was pre-1945 Nanjing Road, today's Nanjing Road East, which is largely pedestrianised. Prior to 1949, the road's English name was rendered "Nanking Road" using the standard romanization of the time.

Huangpu River

Enjoy the Riverside and the bund view of the beautiful city.

The Huangpu River is a 97km long river in China flowing through Shanghai.

Huangpu River is the largest river in Shanghai, and Suzhou Creek its branch.

It is an average of 400 meters wide and 9 meters deep. Shanghai gets most of its drinking water from Huangpu, which thus plays an important part for the metropolis. It divides the city into two regions: Pudong (east) and Puxi (west).

The Bund in Shanghai is located along the river.

 

Day 12 Shanghai (B)

Leave Shanghai and Farewell , you will transfer to the airport to fly your sweet home and finish the amazing China tour.
